Whitney Snow
Whitney is a Montana based photographer who is passionate about telling stories through her images. Her work includes environmental, documentary and portrait photography. Whitney strives to invoke feeling with her photographs, and hopes to document more stories that tell the connection between the environment and the indigenous communities who are striving to preserve their natural resources.
Whitney has a few years experience with photography, and has had many opportunities to have her work showcased for many different clients. She has work exhibited at Montana State University in the American Indian Hall student building, currently works alongside Blackfeet Ledger Artist John Pepion, documentary filmmaker Daniel Glick, and documentary filmmakers Ivy and Ivan Macdonald. Whitney's work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally, and she is an active member of the Indigenous Photograph and Women Photograph collectives.
When not in the field, Whitney is a mother, rancher and Biology student, currently working towards her B.S in Biological Sciences with Arizona State University.
